The preparation of summaries of recorded interviews meets the objectives of the Criminal Justice Unit and the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Criminal Justice.

The summary enables Fraud Managers to easily assess the evidence available for decision making.  A forty five minute recorded interview generates 45 to 60 pages of conversation.  A summary of the same interview might be 10 to 15 pages.

Feedback from Local Authorities currently using the service indicates that there is substantial time saving for Fraud Managers and Adjudication Officers involved in the decision making process.

The document is user friendly for the Investigator, Court, Prosecution and Defence Solicitors.  As it has been independently prepared, it is a balanced, accurate and reliable account of what has been said.

At any Court hearings, the time that the Investigator spends in the witness box is greatly reduced.

The majority of 'investigative bodies' in England and Wales use interview summaries in judicial proceedings.  The model used by PACE Tape Summary Services is being used by Police Forces in the United Kingdom.

Our customers advise us that the cost of our service is cheaper than the fees being paid by those using typing agencies.
